How long have you worked at Sea Swept Design? I started the practice in 1995.
What is your favorite thing about your job? I really enjoy meeting people and getting to know them in order to better understand their needs and vision for their new home. Starting with basic ideas and working through the process to design a home, then to see it built is always rewarding.
If you could do another job for a day what would it be and why? Helicopter pilot in Hawaii, you never get tired of seeing the landscapes and coastline.
How long have you worked with Mark & Sandy? I started working with Mark and Sandy in the late 1990’s and have been fortunate enough to continue that relationship to this day. They are extremely responsive to my questions and concerns on every project and I know that flows over to benefit their clients as well.
What is your favorite thing to do on the Outer Banks? Of course the beach, golf and hanging out with my wife Kathy and our two golden pups, Zack and Summer.
What brought you to the Outer Banks? I had always dreamed of living here after spending many summers as a kid fishing the piers and looking for the best surf. In 1984, I saw an ad for a draftsman with a local building company, landed the job and left my life in Virginia Beach for the Outer Banks.
