Mark Martin Receives Distinguished Builder Member of the Year Award at Prestigious STARS Awards Gala
Concord, NC – On October 3rd, 2023, the North Carolina Home Builders Association hosted the annual STARS Awards Gala at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. The event celebrated the best in the home building industry, honoring industry professionals from across the state.
Over 75 prestigious STARS awards were presented, recognizing excellence in marketing, web design, sales, landscape design, and more. Local home builders’ associations were also acknowledged for their outstanding contributions.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2023 Distinguished Builder Member of the Year award, which went to Mark Martin. An active member of the Outer Banks Home Builders Association since 1996, Mark has demonstrated exemplary leadership as the association’s President for two terms. He has also served on various committees at the local, state, and national levels. In 2020, Mark proudly served as the President of the North Carolina Home Builders Association.
As Mark expressed gratitude in his acceptance speech, he was pleasantly surprised by the presence of his beloved family members – Sam and his fiancé Jessie, as well as Amanda and her husband Rocky – who had traveled to Concord to support and surprise him.
