This Kitty Hawk new build was designed to feel bright, comfortable, and distinctly coastal without leaning too heavily into a traditional beach-house look. From the outside, the home has a clean, timeless presence with soft coastal colors, crisp white trim, and covered porches. Plus, a private pool that extends the living space outdoors.
Inside, the details really begin to tell the story. Warm wood floors and natural wood accents soften the bright interiors. While custom cabinetry, thoughtful trim work, and carefully chosen finishes give each room its own personality. The kitchen became a natural gathering place, with white cabinetry, rich wood details, generous workspace. And, an open connection to the adjoining living areas.
One of our favorite things about this home is that it doesn’t feel overly “designed.” It feels lived-in, welcoming, and personal. There are fun moments throughout. From the bold wallpaper in the powder room to the custom tile details in the bathrooms—mixed with quieter, more timeless spaces that will age beautifully.
The outdoor areas were just as important as the interiors. Covered decks, comfortable gathering spaces, and the pool create plenty of places to enjoy the Outer Banks outside. Whether it’s a quiet morning, a family afternoon, or an evening spent together.
