Our Pride & Joy: Sam & Amanda Martin
It’s hard to believe that our children are now adults. When we moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina more than 20 years ago, Sam was 6 and Amanda was 3. Growing up on the Outer Banks was a dream for our two beach babies!
We are always running into past clients, and they ask, how old are your kids now and what are they doing? As they both celebrate their birthday this month, we take great pride in letting you know what they are doing now.
Sam is getting ready to celebrate five years working at Clyde’s in Reston, Virginia. He has moved up the ladder is now a Sous Chef and Purchasing Manager. In his free time, which is not very often he enjoys bike riding, golf, fishing, touring vineyards and coming home to the beach every chance he gets.
Amanda just graduated with her RN and is in the process of moving to Wilmington, North Carolina to start a new job in July at New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington. In addition to working full time as a nurse Amanda will be starting her RN to BSN degree online with East Carolina University in August, so this NC girl is going to be a Pirate! In her free time, Amanda enjoys boating, fishing, reading, crafts and spending time on the beach.
We are so proud of these two. They are both following their dreams, and we look forward to the next chapters in their lives.
