On a rainy, chilly Sunday afternoon in late April we decided to take a drive down to Hatteras Island to check out the progress on the new Bonner Bridge. We were both surprised with how much work has been done since they started.
The new Bonner Bridge will bring the residents of Hatteras Island and the visitors a much needed secure means of transportation.
